Salmon Watch
The Linn-Benton Salmon Watch program is a placed-based field trip program that targets 5th – 6th graders in Linn and Benton Counties. Salmon Watch teaches youth about watershed concepts through the lens of salmon ecology and conservation. The field trips focus on 4 main topics: Salmon Biology, Macroinvertebrates, Water Quality, and Riparian Areas.
The program is powered by volunteer instructors — MRWC leads multiple stations throughout the season. If you are interested in volunteering for the program, click on the link below. We would love to have you help us out!
